What was the last book that made you cry?
Oh my. Ok, so I don't cry often during books. Movies are a completely different story. I got a little misty eyed while reading Hunger Games, but during the movie I cried. Twice. Like river of tears down my face dripping off my chin crying. And I cry every time I see it. Every. Time. But when reading I try contain it because tears blur my eyesight hindering my reading and then there's the threat of them falling to the pages and wrinkling them! Yes, I'm one of those readers who freaks out over the condition of my books. I found a booger in a used text book back in college and just about died. Anywho, I digress.
There has been a book or two that has cause a few tears to escape before closed the book. One book I can remember off the top of my is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It is a wonderful, beautiful book. Ugh, all the feels! If you haven't read it, you must. I recommend it to EVERYONE. Readers and nonreaders alike.
